Last Saturday 13th June, a large group (for Beadnell!) came together to push back on the dangerous claims being made about the water quality in Beadnell. I think we can call this a resounding success… !! :)
Though we did not attend the meeting, the reports from those that did were damning… how can you be holding a meeting on water quality and safety when you fundamentally don’t understand how tides work???! – yes, tides move in both directions in the North sea, north and south !

To help further clarify things, this is about one person, negatively affecting our community, economy and village, with narcissist, maniac, behaviour. It has nothing to do with the wider Parish Council or members thereof.
Working in a public elected parish council officer setting brings responsibilities and a duty of care for people in the parish. The evidence against Alison Nation in this context is not good, and we will continue to strive for her to stand down and resign from the Parish Council with immediate effect.
This campaign will act as a public audit trail, collecting her transgressions and breeches of conduct.
Audit trail so far;
- Representing her personal view under the guise of her public office – breech of conduct – https://www.local.gov.uk/publications/guidance-local-government-association-model-councillor-code-conduct#misuse-of-position
- Dog ban – significant associated time and financial cost paid for by the members of the Parish – https://www.local.gov.uk/publications/guidance-local-government-association-model-councillor-code-conduct#misuse-of-resources-and-facilities-
- Water quality – no basic understanding of how the sea and water works, damaging local business and the economy – https://www.local.gov.uk/publications/guidance-local-government-association-model-councillor-code-conduct#disrepute-
Next Parish meeting we will again be calling for a protest against Alison Nation – and asking her to immediately resign from her Parish Council position. Join us on Wednesday 22nd July at 5.30pm at the WI hut in Beadnell to demonstrate how we feel.
People in public office are accountable to the community they represent… they DO NOT operate to execute thier own agendas. It will not be tolerated.
Thanks for all the support – and, yes, we will continue to hold Alison Nation to account in a public context without censorship or bias.
Again, finishing on a positive note; thanks to all the people who have supported the campaign, many of your have sent me photos and evidence of the water quality – see below – and many of you have messaged me to support..

Join the movement, support the campaign… print the poaster below and put it in your window if you want to save our village from the tyrany of incompetence…
