This is not the post we wanted to write, but it needs to be published and made available for people to read without censorship.
There is a problem in our village, and that problem is being upheld, supported and maintained by communist-era censorship.
Alison Nation is a sitting Parish Councillor who is intent on ruining our village and businesses. She has a vendetta against the calm and tranquil space we call Beadnell.
Her previous agenda from two months ago, was to personally ban dogs from beaches in the Parish – https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1j70kzl43ko – something she had no power to do, was not supported by the local community and caused incredible expense of time, effort and money to the Parish Council to set right. She still seems to believe that she was justified in her actions, has no sense of self awareness, and refuses to listen to her own parish community or anyone else on the matter.
This is not a person you want representing you in a community or council setting…
Her new crusade is to create a problem over water quality that does not exist. This has no basis and there is no evidence of her claims that the water in Beadnell Bay is unsafe to use. But still, she is intent on creating an issue for public consumption that would create negative press and create issues for local business across the area.

Then we have her supporters. Peter Wallace ( https://www.facebook.com/peter.wallace.9655) – runs a Facebook group called ‘Beadnell Beach’ and has been supporting and promoting Alison’s destructive personal crusade… having posted material supporting her proposed meeting, comment’s were made publically on the post to help inform and guide people to the correct position. Peter helpfully deleted these comments, turned off comments on the propaganda, and banned a number of people from seeing the group or inputting on the subject. Are we living in the communist Soviet Union or CCP China ??
This post needs to be shared and made visible to anyone who cares about Beadnell. We cant live in censored echo-chambers of one persons personal agendas that threaten our community and businesses.
There is a proposed meeting on June 13th at the WI hall to discuss the quality of the water. We will be leading a protest against Alison Nation and her destructive agendas and her communist supporters at the same time and place. There will be no discussion, there will be no case to answer. Beadnell has had excellent water quality recoginsed over decades, and there are no cases of health issues or incidents that can be evidenced.
We will be there to STOP ALISON NATION AND HER COMMUNIST SUPPORTERS….

To end on a positive note, here is some footage of a pod of 15-20 dolphins enjoying the clean inshore water of Beadnell Bay from this Sunday 31st May… they are recently returned to the areas waters… so how bad can it be ?
